Jinju Park is a Senior Education Ombuds in the Office of the Education Ombuds.
Prior to joining the agency, Jinju worked as an attorney with a focus on education law. For over 10 years, she represented state agencies, school districts, and students in hearings, litigation, and appeals in state and federal courts in a wide range of issues including transgender rights, bullying, special education, school funding, free speech, and student discipline.
Jinju believes that education is fundamental to a civil society. As an Ombuds, she is committed to increasing transparency, accountability, and equity for all children. As a Star Trek fan, she secretly hopes that universal access to quality education will eventually give rise to a sci-fi world of onesie-wearing space travelers.
