How can Continuous Learning work for my child with an IEP?

While the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has created a sample template for a continuous learning plan that your district might use, you should also bring your own questions and concerns to that conversation.  Think about the following questions to include in your discussion:

1. What are your current goals for your student during this time?
2. What are you most worried about right now?
3. What does a typical day look like at home?
4. What supports do you need from your IEP team right now?

Is there an exception to allow some in-person services at schools?

The Governor included a narrow exception to allow schools to provide limited services, if required by state or federal law, at school sites but only with required distancing and public health measures. This exception is rare and focused on necessary and essential services that can only be provided directly, and only at school facilities. How can seniors graduate on time?

Schools are focusing on helping their seniors get to graduation. The best places to look for information for individual students include:
